Lieb Cellars, is a 54 acres estate vineyard located in Cutchogue, NY. The sister label of Suhru Wines, winemaker Russell Hearn has been making wines under the Lieb Cellars label for over three decades. Lieb specializes in classic European style vitis vinifera grape varietals. The Lieb portfolio includes bright, crisp, aromatic sparkling and white wines along with rich, robust reds that pair beautifully with a meal and can easily stand on their own.

Our Traditional Method sparkling wine is made from 100% Pinot Blanc grapes and, on average, ages 22 months before being disgorged in small lots to guarantee a crisp, fresh wine. This brut sparkler boasts a nose of green apple and pear, accented by hints of citrus, honey, and yeast. The palate comes alive with delicate, refreshing, tiny bubbles.
Our premier sparkling wine—the Sparkling Reserve is delicate & refined. This traditional method sparkling wine spent 60+ months on tirage developing soft salinity, subtle brioche & a rich mouthfeel.
Limited Release Reserve Rosé—a wonderfully light salmon color with a constant stream of delicate bubbles, this dry style sparkling rosé, has hints of raspberry, rose petals and asian pear with a bright, mouth-cleansing acidity!
Our Signature Wine is produced from some of the oldest vines on the North Fork (circa 1983). Fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks, this wine is vibrant and crisp with notes of lemongrass, rose petals, and sugared lemon peels. After a finish of star fruit and green apple, there is a touch of sea spray.
Light golden hue subtle aromas of pear and baked apple quickly develop into lush nutty lees characters. The palate is rich with creamy apples and a touch of vanilla. This wine is partially barrel fermented which adds structure without masking the fruit.
With violets, raspberry, sweet tobacco and black pepper on the nose, this Cabernet Franc displays juicy blackberry and currant nuances, which carry the wine into its dry, peppery finish. Cabernet Franc is quickly becoming a signature varietal of the North Fork of Long Island, and this wine is a standout among its neighbors. Aged for 10 months in Hungarian oak.
A unique blend of varietals typically grown in Northern Italy, this wine is deep dark purple in color and boasts notes of blackberry and grilled plum. Decant to open up its aromas.
Aged for 10 months in Hungarian oak barrels, our Merlot shows a deep garnet color and an enticing nose of mulberry, pine, and cocoa powder. The palate is rich with plum, black cherry and cedar that comes through a smooth, supple mouth-feel, finished with soft, round tannins. While delicious to drink now, it will age well for many years to come.
Deep cherry red with some rim variation, this Bordeaux blend exhibits a bouquet of dark cherry, blackberry, smoke, dark chocolate, and umami. Aged 16 months in Hungarian oak barrels to exhibit a concentration of lush fruit, hints of earth, and a smooth, complex finish. Cellar worthy up to 15 years.
Produced in very limited quantities and only a few times per decade, this rare red is rich, grippy and complex with flavors of blackberry, clove and sweet tobacco. Best when tasted with aged or smoked cheeses. Aged 10 months in Hungarian oak. Cellar for up to 10 years.
