Limited Re-Release from our Library Collection—A rarity in the United States, our cool climate Shiraz pays homage to winemaker Russell Hearn's native country Australia. The 2013 vintage was a near perfect growing season on the North Fork of Long Island, regarded as one of our region's best vintages to date.

This vibrant wine has a rich, dark hue with aromas of fleshy black plums and ripe, raspberry and blackberry with hints of spice box and white pepper bursting from the glass. It's approachably plush and round with a pleasant mouthfeel, silky smooth tannins, plump mid palate and hint of oak with the backdrop of sweet spice and fine, feather tipped tannins making this a beautiful wine to sip on its own or enjoy with a meal.

Production Notes
Fermented in open top tanks the Shiraz juice spent 10-12 days in contact with the grape skins before being pressed, allowing for the bold flavor and rich color. It was then barrel aged for 6 months in neutral American oak.
