The rebirth of quality ‘dry’ Rose has become apparent in the last decade. Our belief is in the use of spicy grape varietals to make the finest expression of this enjoyable sipping wine.
After a short, 18 hour ‘cold soak’ on skins to extract a vibrant red hue, the fruit was gently pressed. It is made entirely in stainless steel and fermented quite cool (60 F) to retain fruit and accentuate some esters developed during fermentation. No malo-lactic secondary fermentation was allowed to retain fruitiness and acidity. This wine was bottled early to retain the fruity esters and vibrant acidity.
Beautiful light red color is enticing to the senses. The nose abounds with berries: strawberry and cherry that also flow onto the palate. A cleansing and light finish with crisp mouth cleansing acidity at the end.
