Suhru Pinot Grigio
This Pinot Grigio was made entirely in stainless steel, with no malo-lactic secondary fermentation and no barrel aging to accentuate the vibrant varietal fruit aromas/flavor and to retain substantial crisp acidity. It was blended with 5% Riesling which adds additional aromatics and acidity to the wine.
Pale straw yellow in color, inviting lemon zest aromas mingle beautifully with other citrus fruits. Some pear flavors become apparent on the palate mixed with a hint of grapefruit. The bright, crisp acidity doesn’t overwhelm the long lush finish.
This 2010 Suhru™ Pinot Grigio is the perfect cocktail wine that primes the palate for food. The wine pairs well with all seafood, light pasta dishes and rice courses.
